My name is Tessa White - nice to meet you!
As an introduction, my 'official' qualifications are as followed; I have completed both a Bachelor of Music (classical voice - though have a love affair with musicals) and, I also have a Bachelors degree in Psychology... but we're not here for that! We're here sing and share our love of music!! I have also taught privately and choirs for 14 years now (see below).
As time goes I'm sure we'll get to know each other more!
I have only recently moved back to Ascot Vale and found no choirs that offered firstly, a diverse range of music (musical, Australian classics, pop & a little bit of rock) as well as and importantly diversity of people (age, gender...) Everyone is welcome here.
I come from a background of no musicians whatsoever, so my interest in singing came as quite as surprise - though Mum thinks it's all of those hours of screaming during Colic that helped build my lungs and prepared me for this. (Tend to agree).

Our Story
Welcome to the Australian Adults Choir!
In this Choir it doesn't matter whether you can sing (no auditions), or be able to read music or want to engage simply in a community activity.
It is about getting a group of passionate singers together - that love to to sing with others!
Anxious people note: please do not worry about having to sing by yourself. I will never chose someone without their hands up.
For my confident extroverts: there will be many chances to sing solos or in pairs. So raise those hands!
For everyone this is going to be a very relaxed choir where all levels of ability can thrive. Every week I will send a PDF copy of the lyrics and/or the score for those who can bring their Ipads and use them to sing along (or simply print them out ahead of time). I am trying to cut down on waste, but will always have some printed out.

Private Singing Lessons
As mentioned above, I have been a singing teacher for more than 14 years - and I love it!
The session is really lead by you. I'll teach breathing exercises, vocal warm ups, music selection (or support with), breaking down a song to achievable section in our time together.
Choir Members Discount:
$80 down to $70 per hour.
